What joy, what bliss as I stare in wonder and amazement, page after page at all the beautiful and gorgeous pictures of your countless beauties, and packed too with valuable gardening and photography advice and tips. Thank you so much for sharing all these, my loving and generous friend - I've enjoyed myself tremendously.

You uplifted my spirits again!3 Nov '07 7:25 am
It is true, that after I learnt that darling white Prince B-Puss left his Earthly family, I got quite sad myself! I realized how I miss too, all my Feline-family members that left us these last 3-4 years...Although I know in my heart , that they are fine....
But I got Forum-sick, and returned! And read these last posts!! Hey, you have this....uplifting-mood secret here!
Jack , you really got me!! Of course, you saw me and HEARD me while taking photos!! Yes!! Everything else around me ceases to exist , when I am performing!! Coming back to reality, it has happened to me not remembering where I left my belongings -- bag, coat, sunglasses, etc! Yes!! It is a deep interaction with my plant-model AND the camera!! Yes!! I talk to them!
But, still, it is also this darling tiny Sony Camera, SO capable to fulfill my demands! For example, it has programmes of taking photos during shadowy and night conditions without flash. Programmes of taking sea-landscapes, stressing the blue colour! And , as I have already analytically posted another time, it is capable of taking macros of 2-3 cms of distance!! But , believe me , you cannot imagine how many macros I throw away, even so!! Because the participation of the human factor it is truly important!! When I am sad or uninspired,my camera relults to..junk photos! Oh, yes!
And Jack, what on Earth is this ..."Jack two"!!
Dearest Jacqueline,it is lovely to see you back!! You were so creatively and productively occupied! I know!

Thank you so much for the comments on taking beautiful photos-the subjects are of course beautiful in their own right, but to capture that certain something -atmosphere,strength of colour,je ne sais quoi,is a skill much desired.
BTW-the camera manual has 160 pages Jack

Autumn gardening, oh yes!!!!6 Nov '07 9:20 pm
Yes, out there every day I am!! Leaves fall, on my head while gardening, enter my clothes....I discover them when I end up late in the afternoon. But I am satisfied, cause it is not raining and the soil helps a lot for weeding work...And the temperatures help a lot too!
You will see here my latest photo/gardening experience.. In the first part you will see general aspects of the ...very Autumn garden ! Plus, some funny moments...Nicholas decided to help me last Sunday with the Cherry Trees' leaves. So, he appeared dressed like an Eskimo, with absolutely soft temperatures! And then, just after collecting the leaves , he fell exhausted on them!! He stays a lot sitting in front of his computer , I think...No exercise at all...
And this adorable cat-boy!! Moraki 2!! Why, yes!! Apart from the colours, he has the same body shape, the same head form, the same funny look, the same lovely pink nose, the same meawing voice! Reincarnation? Who knows!... This adorable guy, first fell in love with Jeany lady old cat, then I fell in love with him, then , we fell in love with each other!! .You can see him in the photo, sitting outside in the patio, looking inside ,from the big living-room/kitchen door! " I just passed, to say, I love youuuuuu!!". Well, he loves me, because he likes me cuddling him and ....letting him share Jeany's food!!
(PS: Dear friends, I will post my second part November photos during another moment of the day, because it seems impossible to do it right now. Some strange internet powers, do not let me to do it now...)

Oh Liza, how lovely your fall garden looks. I love the tall hedge that gives your garden such an enclosed and sheltering feeling. That sheltered look is what I crave for my gardens. Your views of the charming little garden shed are among some of my favorites. Your whole garden is so well-tended looking even in late fall. It puts mine to shame because I tend to be a little lazier in the fall and let more weeds move in. Also, your beautiful studies of autumn leaves are so perfect. Where does that adorable little fairy figure sit in your garden?
And, what a sweet face on Jeany's boyfriend. I can see why you have fallen for him. Then another totally charming face on your eskimo child, Nicholas. Who could resist him? Poor thing, I'll bet he was roasting.

Hi Liza, what wonderful photos yet again! Your sweet story and photo of little Nicholas made me giggle, and I loved your pic of the geranium with the raindrops on its petals, that gorgeous orangey-red rose, and your photos 9 and 11 with the fallen autumn leaves is so typical of your artistic nature, my friend!
Your garden looks just lovely, Liza, with its autumn clothes on - the low light gives it that half-really bright, half-really dark look that characterises this time of year.

They are one of my Chinese Azaleas (Luteum, golden yellow), and the Meilland adorable red Rose, planted in the same border!! At this time of the year, they are both red!!
