The artistry in forming the stone wall is amazing ! !
Is it a 'dry stone ' wall ? And is it local volcanic rock ? The grand estates around the Waikato / Hamilton area often have grand entrances ,but I haven`t seen one as naturally beautiful as yours .

I am seeing a combination of Blackeyed Susans and Blue Salvia. Perfect colors to set off against the stone walls, low enough to see the stone work, hardy enough to take the climate... and casual enough to fit into the scenery around them...

Goose - I love your entry.... The wall is beautiful all by itself, but combined with the veiw beyond, well its just spectacular! Its beautiful and welcoming at the same time. It almost begs you to enter just to see what might be hiding beyond your view.
