Dear moosey, Just a quick note to say thanks to you and your son Eggy for your fabulous web site! I'm a landscape designer and I was needing a few images to show a client (Euphorbia mysinites, actually), and I stumbled across your website and what a delightful surprise it was. I lived near Wellington for a while and I have cousins in Paraparumu and Hawk's Bay...I love New Zealand. Your website took me right back! I really enjoyed the casual, warm style mixed with the very professional website and superb photos. Well done!

Hi Moosey, Last time I wrote you, i must have been complaining about our Japanese Beetles, so it must have been July as that is when they get awful. You asked what they are, here is a picture and description www.msue.msu.edu/vanburen/japbet.htm Lucky you to never have encountered these nasty critters. They love rose petals and just about any fragrent flower. Its November, so here in Maine that means beginning of our cold weather with snow any day now. All the delicate plants are buried under deep layers of mulch, leaves are raked, bulbs are planted (tulip, crocus and daffodil) and people are enjoying warm fires and a cup of hot coffee. Hi Moosey! You have a very beautiful garden.I really loved reading about your garden and animals. We don't have such a huge garden to own and beautify like yours over here. Anyway, my brother has just moved to Christchurch recently and will find a time to visit the gardens in NZ oneday. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work on the garden and web site. Cheers!

quite by chance found your site. don't have much time today but clicked on to animal page straight away. Am trying to garden in Italy, work part-time in a florist and still have two adult chidren and husband at home plus cats and dogs. Have the impression we may have much in common!!
