Autumn at The Chateau!19 Nov '06 9:15 pm
Wow, dear Liza! Such breathtaking and captivating photos, depicting the gradual stages of autumn season at The Chateau! Love every one of them, each shot has its own magical and enchanted attraction! Autumn colours are so beautifully amazing for me! Thank you so much for sharing them.
Do you know that no where on the internet can I find such magnificent photos of The Chateau and its grounds, except on this wonderful thread of yours? Early October, when I surfed for an appropriate link to The Chateau De La Hulpe in Brussels/Belgium for my Garden Reference and Resources website, none can even come close to yours! Thanks so much for your excellent work here and of course for this link too!

I would so much love to have you all there with me!! Walking together, sharing these amazing feelings of awe and wonderment that connect human beings really deeply in such blessed places..
And , if you wish, I can post personally full screen , any of these photos.. Since they are here, they belong to us all...The Forests of our Earth belong to us all...
In the Chateau/Animals topic, I am sure you will love some more Autumnal sparkling photos...
Till I return from Athens, I send you all my love...

Liza, such beautiful photos - I reiterate all the comments by our other friends! The Chateau itself looks like a fairytale castle, particularly in your photo no.10, and I can just imagine Rapunzel lowering her flowing hair down from a window for the Prince to climb up!! But the grounds themselves are stunning - I, too, wish I could have been there with you, to sit beside you on your "chair" to take in the breathtaking views and to think and, maybe, to talk!
Thank you for sharing these, Liza.

They're absolutely beautiful photos. You have a 'good eye' for framing a shot.
Those grounds look to be absolutely wonderful. It must be extremely peaceful there.

The Chateau under Snow!9 Feb '07 9:45 pm
When I arrived there yesterday, it was 1.30 pm, and the snow had already started melting.. But , still, there was enough to dress the Nature around the Chateau in one of the most serene, pure, mystical spectacles I have ever experienced in my life... An enormous gratitude and peace surrounded me , like an invisible protective cocoon, at the very moment I entered its main entrance...

Yet again, you show us your tender, artistic side, dear Liza. Such beautiful, peaceful scenes, and how I wanted to give those horses a big hug - they look so cold, the poor things!

Liza, they are beautiful pix! It is hot and muggy already this morning where I am sitting, so looking at your updated post is very cooling!
I think my favourite overall is the one of the Chateau with its' misty shroud. Divine!

The compositions are very skilled - 024 for instance !
I also think photos with a limited colour palette have a magic atmosphere .I have a separate folder for the chateau photos ,so can enjoy the seasonal sequence ,Thank you Liza.
