Touring Your Own Country First

I've been thinking (sheepishly) about this - and how little travel I've done in New Zealand to look at other gardens. It's all to do with seasonal greed! I think that's why a garden tour in a different hemisphere is so appealing. When it's wintry, cold, and nothing will be growing in my NZ garden, then no other NZ gardens will be worth visiting either! But... it will be summer in the northern hemisphere! No wonder I prefer to do my garden touring over the seas!
