3 Mar '06 12:13 pm We are leaving for a few days` holiday in the Coromandel peninsula-on the east coast of the north island. It was once covered with giant Kauri forests.Now only a precious few remain, but thousands are being planted by caring people.Much of the peninsula is in native NZ bush.
I am looking forward to visiting a couple of gardens.
