Congratulations!!! Your site is a breath of fresh air and reality--a delightful change from the pretentious many. My garden is half an acre of windswept clay, complete with gorse and we have only been here 18 months. Our friends were convinced I had lost the plot taking this on but the madness is paying off--the 4500 root trainer trees and shrubs were planted into compost and mulch on top of the clay in the wind blasts and look ma no stakes!! After 18 months they are now 1.5 to 3 meters tall and straight--I'm filling in with ground covers and the wussy stuff that likes more shelter--your garden spurs people like me to continue. Thank you--Sandra

Mary, this is the secret web life I didn't even know you had. It, like you, is utterly fabulous. The saddest part was reading about the cats that are no olonger with us. i look forward to visiting you, spunky Stephen in gumboots and your garden these holidays with Glenis.
