fairy bells8 Jun '06 2:20 pm
Attention caught by the tinkling of tiny wind chimes around behind the cedars.
The littlest pixie is reaching up to touch them.

What lucky children!8 Jun '06 4:21 pm
Of course you know you have created magic memories that will last the rest of their lives. That is the greatest gift of all. The magic and wonder you have created is truly magical and will help shape their perception of the world. For now, at least, their is a real place of magic for them. They have seen it and know it to be real.
I am a magician and have been for 42 years. I specialize in children's entertainment. I am also a puppeteer and a puppet builder. So I know how special it is to create magic times for kids. What you've done is to suspend disbelief for a while. To a child, if they can see it, then it's real. Only when they get a little older do they start to question things out of unstoppable curiosity. But for now while they are so young, it is all real for them. Even better than Santa Claus.
Special memories they will never forget.
Wonderful beyond words.

Fairie Garden9 Jun '06 4:46 am
How delightful! Our neighbor across the street started a "secret/fairy" garden in her yard, with all these cute turtles, frogs, fairies and other trinkets. I was enthralled, seeing something in every nook and cranny, and she matched the colors of the objects to the flowers that were blooming alongside them. And now I found yours! I'll have to direct her here for sure! I don't think it's just the child in us that appreciates these little bits of charm and fantasy. It's what's within our hearts and souls... Darlene

Mosaic4 Sep '06 10:27 am
When I read how Liza and Christopher loved Shasta daisies ,I thought I would try to make daisies in mosaic on my concrete slabs .So this has been a winter project indoors .These are now out side in the fairy garden paths .Not quite like the real ones ,but made with affection for our Moosey friends.
