I think it's a wonderful gesture that couldn't have come at a better time. I look forward to seeing the finished result.

Dear sweet Anna!....18 Apr '07 8:13 pm
You have this charisma, to express in two lines the deepest of meanings --quite the opposite of me!
Yes, dearest Chris! Me, too, I'm waiting so much for the exceptional result of your God-sent present! Fairy Princess is waiting, too!
My wise friend , Pumkin, I think, you, too, have Anna's charisma..

Close ups25 Apr '07 6:55 am
Some of my family have been staying and I was able to use their digital camera for some close ups .I painted most of these things which were formerly concrete .

I tried to pull the grass out as weeds ,but then decided it looked really nice and lush ,so just give it a trim with scissors occasionally

Wonderful details, Dixie. I can see a fairy peaking out from behind that mushroom. Now I want to make a mushroom to keep my gnome company.
I have the wood for your new friend. now to map out the parts and cut them out.

Dixie, your painted garden art is so cute and so appropriate for a Fairy Garden. Christopher claims to see a fairy peeking out from the mushroom (I would call it a toadstool), but I see the fairy lurking in that basswood of Christophers.

A wonderful batch of the latest photos, Dixie!
I think I'd be tempted to have some toadstools for my garden once things are more established.
(I saw some 'real' ones last weekend at my sister's new place in Coromandel. Lovely big red with white spots, toadstools! Straight out of children's fairytales. )
