Isn't it sweet and romantic this lovely corner? And...I'm a little jealous of your dwarf Agapanthus, cause those I'm going to plant are 1m and more tall and are suited only for the middle of my borders...
Dixie, tell me please, what is that lovely short plant, at the bottom right, with this magnificent dark blue colour?

Liza`s encouragement.2 Feb '06 6:29 am
Thank you Liza,
This area now has a little sign"To the Fairy garden", as round to the right is a stony, shady area I didn`t know what to do with.I am well on the way with a 'fairy' garden, and there are resident fairies there already.
The deep blue flower is an annual lobelia.I have them in pots so they can be moved out in to sun. These agapanthus seem to do well in sun or shade.

Fairies!2 Feb '06 12:04 pm
YES!!! YES!!
And in our livingroom I have many lovely statuets of Fairies ...
And the book is, "To Hear the Angels Sing", by Dorothy Maclean. You can find it in Amazon.
After I read this book, I couldn't weed my garden for some time, couldn't prune my plants...Everything in there, became double as important, respectable, and worthy of existing...

I agree Jan, fushias always looks like dancing fairies to me how appropriate that they are where the fairies in this garden live!
