Fluff Fluff and Beigepuss6 Jan '06 11:49 am
I've just added Fluff Fluff and Beigepuss to the Most Valuable Pet voting form. They're pretty cute and already picking up a lot of votes.
I have one question for Moosey though, why oh why is Fluff-Fluff more beige coloured than beigepuss is? Couldn't you (gently) blow dry beigepuss and then swap the names over? |

Cat people will know that cats often name themselves, and that logic has little to do with it. Beige Puss has got beige ears and tail, and that will just have to be enough. I'm immediately concerned that Fluff-Fluff seems to have twice the number of page votes as Beige Puss - I hope the Moosey Points system is robust enough to cope with his double name. Or is Fluff-Fluff getting two points for every one of Beige Puss? Or is someone prejudiced against poor little rescued kittens who are riddled with ringworm (easily treated, I must add)....???????
Anyway, pleased to report that both kittens are doing well, and just starting to learn about climbing the curtains and scooting through Rusty the dog's legs before he has time to notice.
Cheers, happy 2006, |

There is a downside this time - designer ringworm! But both kittens were rescued from the suburban 'wild', and fixing the fungal ringworm is a small price to pay for two good healthy cat lives. My friend the initial rescuer also has ringworm in her cat family - she came out to visit the other day and we checked drugs, pill-sizes, quantities etc.! We're both probably very lucky there are no crawling babies or toddlers in our households!
Ringworm seems to be picked up more by the young of any species, while older e.g. cats can become carriers. That's why the whole animal family is now being treated. |

And about the new fluffy treasures of the Moosey .....12 Jan '06 3:49 am
...animal family : They are just adorable, and sooooo very lucky rescued orphans!
And we have to realize here, that a real animal lover is MAINLY a human lover! How come we can possibly love animals, if we cannnot ---first of all!---respect and cherish the HUMAN LIFE!

Hi, Bex!
I really wonder, how are the two new beige kittens doing so far, compared to the rest Moosey animals, in the Pet Competition? |
