30 Jul '05 10:00 pm Tomatoes are dead easy to grow.
They need plenty of water to develop juicy fruits, and good sun BUT not too much sun. Probably a shady area with a few hours light direct sun a day as their leaves can get burnt easily.
Tomatoes can suffer a wide range of diseases, so as you go along and find something that doesnt seem right - I can answer then rather than rant off all these possible diseases you may not even come across.
All I can to you is just put it in your ground or pot, keep it well watered and give it some blood 'n bone, or tomato fert. Some people put a couple of teaspoons of milk powder in the hole before planting.
