I really should get out more! I've been living in Camberwell in South London for several years now and until last week I'd never set foot in Ruskin Park.
Bex and I took a wander there last weekend, prompting me to return with my camera several days later.
Ruskin Park was founded in 1907 and has many features of interest to gardeners. Now is a good time of year to admire the pockets of rhododendrons and there's A croquet / Lawn Bowls field has taken on a rustic overgrown cottage garden look.
The obligatory British spring squirrels are in abundance. Spring is in the air, literally. Insects swarm, hover and buzz around while a large bird population watches on...
