October Garden Diary13 Oct '04 7:54 pm
Hello, Moosey. So nice to see little seedlings all waiting to be planted again. Been a long time here since I've seen that. I'm sure they'll be lovely flowers one day. I sure envy your spring garden now instead of the mid-fall one I have. Our tree leaves are beginning to turn lovely fall colours and the garden is looking rather dull with only a few things still blooming. I've some bulbs to get planted by Halloween and then it'll be time to mulch the garden with straw for the winter.
Your pretty tulips are lovely even though as you say they're not special ones, they bring back nice memories of mine this past spring. Thanks for sharing this fun garden diary. I also enjoy planting and moving things in the garden much more than the very boring, very repetitive weeding. I'm hoping to have a good bark mulch layer down on the garden next year to cut down on my own weeding. Take care and happy gardening, Moosey! Cheerio! |
