24 Aug '09 2:41 pm This little roadrunner showed up yesterday while my husband and I were swimming. He showed no fear and just wandered around the pool area for a couple of hours. He didn't mind me going in the house to get the camera and take his picture. He comes and goes and doesn't even mind the cats and dogs. We have named him Rocky.

25 Aug '09 5:59 pm that is great. I used to see these when I lived for a few months in Alpine, 30 minutes east of San Diego. They would come through our yard but they always seemed on their way and busy. They never stuck around or hung out with my dog. That is some bird you have there.

1 Sep '09 5:24 am Wow I haven't seen a roadrunner since I visited Arizona more than 10 years ago. I remember it was one of my favorite birds when I was younger because of their quick speed. Great photo!
