Realize it has been a while since you lost them, but it came as a shock to me that they are gone. Whillikers, I remember when you got them, as a color matching compliment to Rusty, for Christmas and how you chided yourself about such a "designer" present for your puppy. And now am so very sorry to learn of their deaths. Did B-puss die of the same thing that got Smoocher? And, indeed, the "B" in B-puss' name did stand for Beautiful. Have been grieving of late for the loss of two of my fine fellows.

If you are feeling down and need cheering-up, or just want to laugh, I can highly recommend on Flickr: Mats and Muffi where you will find Cat Fight with Tiger and Muffi. Have come to love these kitties as if they are my own. The slideshow is grrrrreat, but just viewing the individual pictures also lets you read the comments, some of which are as entertaining as the photo. The quality of the photos are outstanding. But, my dear Lady Moosey, I am hard pressed to believe you would ever have the time!

Life goes on - and really, I couldn't be without cats or cat-memories. And the same for dogs (oops, nearly forgot, sorry Rusty!). I guess we tend to humanise our house pets - names, personalities, etc. - and then somehow expect them magically to last as long as we do!
