Well Spring seemed to arrive here all of a sudden and before I knew it, was heading full tilt toward Summer! I managed to take some photos of the property along the way but they are not a true representation of the fantastic Spring flush we have had.

The roses in particular are superb this year but I've yet to get 'round to taking proper pictures of them. Razz

Wow, Kerole - What lovely pictures!! I didn't get a reminder that there was a post on your thread, so I would have missed it if I hadn't logged in to try another experiment with my picture uploading (more about that on my thread!).

How beautiful your allee of cherry trees is - did you plant them all?? And that "Golden Showers" rose against the dark background - wonderful!!

I loved your iris flowers; I just began cutting the leaves from mine for the winter today, and I saw my first "in the flesh" reblooming iris flowering in one of the city parks yesterday.

Enjoy Spring - I'm sort of looking forward to winter and a bit of a rest from the garden, but your pictures make me anxious for MY Spring!! Thanks for posting!!

Hmmmm. My vege garden is growing a fantastic display of nasturtiums and honey worts! Not the intended items for our usual menu. Shocked

Here's some more pics of our Spring. I haven't done the roses justice - they are spectacular this year. I still don't know the name of the standard blush roses that grow along the front of our house, but I absolutely adore them. Subtle, classy, gorgeous form. What's not to love? Cool

I could have sworn I responded to your post of 2 Nov. I know I enlarged the pics. But the evidence is against me...

Your garden is looking lovely. The moody pic through the windshield of the cherries is one of those snapshot photos that capture the beauty and reality of the view like no carefully constructed tripod shot can... love it! Your golden elms and poplers are beautiful - do you have a scientific name for the poplars? And of course your unknown blush pink rose is ravishing and perfect in its place.

It was lovely to walk - and drive! - through your garden again Smile
