Hampton Flower Show Pictures22 Aug '04 10:59 pm
Thanks for your lovely feedback on the Chelsea and Hampton reports - it really helps to enthuse us to write more!
Here are some more Hampton pictures, particularly chosen to show off that silly camera of Eggy's! Some pictures from the RHS shows, like the ones below, make me question what I was looking at when I was there - the pictures are such good quality that they almost look like different plants.
Eggy's busy writing an article on photography as we speak, so keep an eye on the news page.

There definitely weren't any pigeon statues when I visited the Enchanted garden... must be real!

I love the contrast between the delicate petals and the spikey middle.

The flower show pictures look amazing, bex - particularly to us poor things in the late-middle of winter! Wow! Now I want an stone archway as well as a Gabion as well as a moat around my house. Hopeless!
I enjoyed the camera article. Hmm... maybe I should upgrade!

Glad the camera article has inspired you to find your close-up button! The recent images are looking great, Moosey. No insects on the agenda...?

This is the pleasure of cybergardening, sharing stuff... these are gorgeous photos and I especially love that great shot of the pigeon, you couldn't have posed it better if you tried.
Looking forward to Eggy's photo article.

Your pictures are like carrot dangling Bex now you simply must get a wide-angle lens

Pumpkin - I've acted on your advice and have purchased a 24mm wide angle lense. Bx's camera has a lovely widescreen mode too.
