18 Dec '07 3:50 pm Merry Christmas my friends. I was getting some of the boxes of Christmas stuff up from the basement when this fellow came out from his hiding spot. Hunting must have been good.
Isn't he a beauty. A Wolf Spider. Biggest one I seen here in Sask. I saw bigger ones in B.C.

Oh, Chris!!!
18 Dec '07 10:43 pm It seems you are like me!!! I have always protected my spider-friends of this house when they were in danger, because of my cats, or ...Nicholas, who is the only one being afraid of them in the family(because of his school-friends, of course..).!!Yes!! He/she is a beauty!!! Like all creatures of Creation!

Season's greetings!
19 Dec '07 8:18 am A merry Xmas to Christopher (who started this thread in his usual inimitable way!) and to Deb and to all my many friends on Mooseyscountrygarden!
30 Dec '07 7:54 am As one who personally escorts spiders outside when vacuuming, and who is rather rude on the phone to spider-proofers... Merry Christmas Christopher and your family - spiders included! Cheers.
