Do you all have any pictures of these native plants? I don't know of them.
Just wondering. |

There are hardly any pictures of pittosporums or pseudopanax on this site - though they are all around the garden! Blame the photographer! I get lots of pittosporum seedlings but the pseudopanaxes I grow seem to give nothing back. |

Good to see this lack of Pttosporum pictures has been rectified! There are now lots of pictures of Pittosporums in their very own article. Just have to do something about the pseudopanax, now!
Other New Zealand native pictures can be found in the site, either in the NZ Native directory, or in the gallery. |

The Pseudopanax shrub-trees are very beautiful - there are gold-splashed ones, variegated ones, wine-red coloured ones as well as Camellia-green. Their foliage is much more interesting than Camellias, without the distraction of flowers. Hope I haven't offended any Camellia lovers!
Perhaps these brilliant foliage plants will soon be photographed, and given a really good article of their very own! |
