Nematodes29 Apr '08 10:46 am
Marigolds, Marigolds, Marigolds. They produce a volitile oil that deters the nematodes. I have found them to be helpful in just about every situation, plus they are extremely versitile in regards to where they will grow. You might also contact your local university extension office and see if they have any suggestions on local or regional plants that can help to counteract the nematodes. Companion gardening even with flowers can be rewarding both in experience and appeal!! |

solution to nematodes12 May '08 9:06 am
A possible solution is to buy roses budded on R. fortunia stock. There are mail order nurseries that sell them. You might want to check out ars.org for possible vendors. |
