Choicya
8 Oct '07 10:22 pm It is also very slow-growing and quite difficult to propogate - thus expensive. And Moosey has Choicya 'Sundance' that I would kill for, but had to settle for one as a house-warming present for my friend in London as I've never seen it here.
It is not the same as Mock Orange which is a Philidelphus and very scented.

More on Choisya
11 Oct '07 5:20 pm If you can be bothered crawling around the base of your Choisya with a sharp little kitchen knife in hand, you can often slice off basal shoots which seem to do the business. Agree that it's slow growing, though oddly here in NZ it's as cheap as cheap. Hmm... Do I see an exporting potential?
