Well, wouldn't you know it. I'm gone for a couple of days, and darn it if Mary doesn't go and have her birthday. I had been waiting and watching for it for a couple of weeks now, but sadly didn't remember what day it is. Anyway, a belated Happy Birthday to our favorite Head Gardener!

I've just discovered your clanging hints, Moosey - FOUR days after you dropped them. So now Moosey goes onto my birthday calender, just in case next year finds me equally preoccupied.

Oops. I have only just remembered that web-master son gave me my birthday present early, when I was in London in June. I feel so foolish, but honesty forbids me to edit my grumbling journal. I am a goose!

Thanks to you all - my birthday is shamelessly broadcast each year, it's just something I've never held back about! oops again!
