11 Aug '07 12:45 pm Mark, you CAN go there -I have Google earth(free) and visited this exact place this morning--it is absolutely beautiful--not the same as being there of course, but a delight all the same. You will see the swimming pools and the hairpin bends of the roads, and the boats, and where it is on Corfu .You might be able to figure out which is the pink house by comparing with Liza's photos.Just type in Port Agios Stephanos-Corfu, and it will whirl you there.

11 Aug '07 4:21 pm I'm on a MAC here-and no longer the newest one either- and for some reason I have a hard time accessing Google Earth. I'm not sure if they have it available for the my operating system yet. Dixie, you've inspired me to try to download it again. Maybe I'll play my ace in the hole and ask Lia to help me. If I can get it I just may take a look down on New Zealand to see if I can find a pasture with some little lambs and a couple of cows near a really nice garden.

15 Aug '07 6:22 am Oh Liza! What beauty!
PS: I must explore Google Earth. I once saw it demonstrated magnificently. When I try it at school it doesn't work -I must find out if some downloads are blocked to save bandwidth. And because of the bandwidth required I've not attempted to download it at home (yet )

Bandwidth and Digging
16 Aug '07 9:00 am Bandwidth always makes me think of really fat supersized musicians in a rock band. So the thought of needing more bandwidth seems dreadfully unhealthy! hee hee. Sorry to digress - I should be outside digging and I am putting off the moment of starting by finding every sort of silly excuse...
