I don't have a photo from my garden but..
11 Aug '07 6:47 am here is a connector to the website of the nursery I intend to get my verbascum from. If you're on dial up it may not be a good idea. If not, no problem. This is the connector to the particular cultivar I'm interested in growing "Southern Charm"
They carry 24 verbascum hybrids and species and each comes with pictures and cultivation requirements like the one I like. You can go to the page that lists them all here
They have an A to Z plant list of all the plants they grow at the same site.
Hope this is helpful, Mark

Southern Charm
11 Aug '07 4:18 pm Hi, mark- I think "Southern Charm" look great! You should be very happy with it! AS I said in another post, I'm not too good with growing Verbascums, so I wouldn't advise you. But it sure looks lovely, and, I would think, should do well for you.
Cheers!

Souithern Charm
13 Aug '07 3:21 am Thanks for the link Mark. Southern Charm is just lovely and I might be tempted to order some for my rose berms. I didn't notice where Annie's is located, but perhaps verbascum doesn't mind a change of climate.

Annie's is in Richmond, California.
13 Aug '07 4:10 am It is about a 15 or 20 minute ride north from me in Berkeley, Faith. I still haven't got my verbascums yet but I still plan to. Right now I'm a little backlogged in terms of planting out recent purchases.
Gordon, I have seeds for Euphorbia lambii for you. (I put a few of the pea sized pods in my pocket the other day and while I was at the computer I heard a slight pop and felt something in my pocket. Inside my pocket were the other two seed heads and the debris and seeds from the one that opened.) I'll be getting those in the mail as soon as I can find a source for those little zip lock bags you used.

Little Baggies
13 Aug '07 4:40 pm Hi, Mark-
I got the baggies at Staples, which is a big office supply store here. Try a company like that.
Cheers!
