24 Oct '07 5:42 pm hi...
i'm just giving this a stab. the first pic looks like it might be juncus, a reed type grass? we have something very similar at my nursery and the third pic might be a cast iron plant? just taking a chance. good luck!

Unknown Plants
14 Oct '08 2:47 am Hello Helga and welcome to Moosey's Forum. I followed the link to view the photos of your unknown plants. I feel fairly confident that number 4 is an Aralia of some sort. They are a houseplant that grows 3 to 4 feet (sorry, I don't know how that translates to meters), require bright light, warm temperatures and extra humidity. No. 2 looks like a Dracaena, which is fairly easy to grow as a houseplant with average light and humidity. The photos 2 and 1 are definitely of a rush (Juncus family), but I don't know which of the over 300 species it might be. The only ones I found descriptions of said they all had brown flowers, where yours appear white. My book only listed three of the 300 species, so maybe you could find more on the internet.
Good luck with your search.
