11 Jul '07 2:07 am Mark whats fun with safe? Im a fan of trying someting new. I cant wait till I get my new house...apartment life is good but I cant wait to get back into the garden.
Im looking at some of the plant life here in Florida and they have some things Ive never seen so Im going to take some pictures and see if I can identify them.
Thats fun too...figuring out what things are.

12 Jul '07 7:36 am Safe isn't much fun at all. Well I'm for trying new things - always - and I can only imagine how your options have expanded there in Florida. I think we're talking tropical, no? Knowing how fond you are of roses I suspect the heat and humidity will be a challenge, though perhaps not all that much more so than where you were last? I just got back from a short trip South. Good to hear from you.

13 Jul '07 1:25 am Yes I have an obsession with roses...Its killing me that I cant plant anything right now...its actually not that humid where I am. Fort Lauderdale as a whole is cooler that where I was! New Orleans is so hot and humid its like breathing thru a hot sponge all day long...and the nights arent better. Then we have the mosquitos big enuf to carry off you and your car...with the family in it! Here we have ocean breeze and I dont find the humidity that bad at all. Everyone around me is falling out and Im comfortable.
Im debating on getting a condo or a townhouse...or should I just get this adorable house I found...if I get the house I know Im going to plant SOMETHING...and Im not sure we are staying so ..Im trying to convince myself to get the condo or a town house...
I have this itch to plant!!! Its driving me bonkers that I cant get down to building my new rose beds...so what do I DO!!!
