23 May '07 6:48 am We have grown 'a' Bougainvillea glabra on a centre bench in a different Victorian greenhouse at Winsford Walled Garden for several years and never had problems. It didn't even suffer the scourge of white fly. I can't understand why I didn't think of it before!
Anyway, here's a picture of Bougainvillea 'Penang' and one of the passion flowers that 'slipped' on to the passenger seat at another nursery, Passiflora organensis with its unusual leaf.

Bougainvillea
23 May '07 11:21 am I think your plan is great Michael. I remember seeing bougainvillea growing in the Victorian era greenhouses at the Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina. I was so inspired that I purchased two, thinking I would overwinter them inside. I never seem to learn. They of course, perished over the winter in my garage. Too little light and humidity. Good luck with your Bougainvillea Greenhouse!
