I live on Vancouver Island (west coast of Canada), but that plant came from a plant collector's garden, so it could have originated anywhere. It's too bad that she couldn't remember what it is! If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

30 Jun '09 4:17 pm The leaves is somewhat similar to begonia.Begonias are attractive, waxy green or chocolate colored leaves show themselves off wherever you have placed them.
