27 Apr '07 5:14 am Good evening from Southern Denmark, where we are nearly at the end of a really superb day. I give you the last of this years new tulips. Again my photograph does no credit to the flower, so you will have to believe me when I say this is a delicate (may I say -- feminine) pink, going into white in the centre and is really a lovely flower. If, as I suspect, there are those among us who are unable to grow tulips like these may I say just one thing ---- move!!! Regards Gerry
27 Apr '07 9:34 am Now that's a lovely tulip! I'm getting very tempted to add it, or something similar if we don't have that particular one, to my list.
(I'm going plant shopping this weekend!!! Hurrah!!)

'Angelique'
28 Apr '07 2:08 am Lovely tulips Gerry. I have actually tried to grow 'Angelique' in past gardens with very little success. Maybe I sould try again now that I have a better situation for them. I know they wouldn't return for me, but I might be able to get one good season from them. They are so beautiful that it might be worth growing them as annuals.
