We drove through here to visit with a few of Lia's grad students who were here at this art school in rural Maine in the summer of 2005. I was just working on putting together a batch of photos from a very famous garden we came to later on that trip in Pennsylvania, when I came upon this one.
The school is on a farm with live stock which reminded me of some of the photos we've seen from Dixie and of Faith's farm. The grounds of the school are maintained as they might of appeared in 1800, if they had a dedicated crew of about 50 gardeners. Here is the one photo I got before the camera quit.
