Liza, your newest avatar is absolutely gorgeous !
I spent yesterday afternoon trying to create a beautiful flower picture of my first camellia, but O Dear -I clicked the wrong thingle and I don't really know what I did but I ended up in all sorts of trouble(the instruction book is 159 pages long !!!)and then the battery went flat.
So when you produce your exquisite flower portraits (more than mere photos)I just envy -in a nice way of course ! What is the rose? Perhaps Golden celebration ?

This is my beloved lady, Amber Queen, Dixie!! And , yes, this photo expresses her very special beauty, even in her unfolding process. I will post this photo, together with some more, in The In Love Diary.
Look. I do not know what camera you have, but I think that all of them have a close-up position --- they only differ in the distance from the model to capture, 10cm, 7cm, 2cm.. So, the first thing to do before a close-up, is to pose the close-up position. Concerning the battery, it is very practical to let it be "fed" on the charger the whole night long, so it will be charged in the morning for you to use it. Sometimes it is very practical having two of them, one on the charger, one in your camera. |

Your garden is just gorgeous. I will take one of each, thank you
A lot of mine went bye-bye when we had 3 nites of temps in the 20s after 3 weeks of temps above 80. So many things thought spring was here to stay and popped their little heads out of hibernation.
Can't get over how absolutely gorgeous yours is.

Thank you for the welcome. I will post pics as soon as I can pry the camera from my daughters hands. She has discovered some web site called my space and her and her friends are constantly on it and posting pics to each other. I really fail to see the need as they see each other in person at school and at our home at least a few times a week. Teens, who knows? Every time I manage to get that camera the batteries are dead, gonna have to keep an extra stash for me. |
