I laugh when I remember how much Moosey used to detest her nickname... "DONT CALL ME THAT!" she would shriek... Then all of a sudden, almost overnight, she decided it was alright after all and absolutely everything in her world became the moosey this or the moosey that.
I think the name Moosey is an abbreviation of Mum-moosey or My-Moosey. My sister gets called Hoosey or just Hoose sometimes. I've been Eggy since my school days.
Moosey and I both like the degree of seperation an internet nickname offers. We are Moosey and Eggy until you make personal contact with us or read around the main site or the forums and we become Mary and Nick.
Occasionally I get very serious emails and letters addressed to Eggy and I laugh out loud, like the scary legal email i got a few months back threatening to sue us for alleged copyright infringement, addressed to Dear Mr Eggy... |

When you get really famous ,SIR Eggy might not sound right either .
Seriously - about the copyright infringement - was it something that one of us did ? I'm feeling guilty in case it was ,though I can't think what it might have been - most of us refer to other sites as a compliment to that site .
