some favourite plants in my garden30 Mar '07 10:24 am
Here are some of the plants giving me pleasure today. Heavy rain here last nigh for an hour or so but a few blue patches in the sky this morning although I did feel a few spits of light rain just as I finished hanging out the washing! Taken a chance and left it out
Well, that's all for now, have to go out for an hour or so.

Got that last pic wrong, a bit difficult for me to identify the little thumbnails, not a Coruma but one of a flax called I think, black knight but I could be wrong on that name.

Hi, dear friend, and WELCOME!
I enjoyed so much your plants and photos! I assume , that you live somewhere in the S. Hemisphere from the beauties in bloom right now in your garden. Fuchias and Chrysanthemums (and Asters) are ALL my favorite Autumnal plants! They fill the garden with their vibrant colours, plus ,that butterflies are crazy about them! Happy gardening!

Teejay, I can see why your plants are giving you pleasure right now. They are lovely. I have never had a chrysanthemum re-seed. That's pretty exciting.

I do like the splashy effect of white flowers -the white daisy chrysanths in the first pic are so sweet .Makes me wish I had a digital to be able to take closeups as they are so beautiful when shared in these forums.

Thanks everyone.31 Mar '07 2:53 pm
Liz, how exciting to have a post from Waterloo!. Such a coincidence as I was watching a program about Napolena at the battle just this wee. I live in New Zealand, haven't worked out yet how to update my details although I do know it is on 'my profile'. But I have been trying to downsize my photos to post an avator!!
I have a chocolate scented clematis that I have to prune back every fortnight as it is desperate to get into next doors garden.
Hi Faith, well, this is the first time the chrissies have been so kind to me too. One day, I will try for some of the more exotic forms of this plant
Hi Dixie, yes the dgi camera is the tops, I have taken more pics in the last two years than in all the decades ( and there are a lot of them ) before I got mine.

Hi Dixie,
I am a member of the Grownups web site and have just been in and tried to locate Bobbity's advice on shrinking my photos for an avator but could not find it. I will ring my son who is a computer engineer and ask him. I just hope I can understand what he tells me, that is a mission sometimes and I have to remind him to talk in plain English!
