I always remember it being sunnier up there in autumn - dahlias looking bigger and better, roses still blooming, that sort of thing.

30 Mar '07 2:09 am Great job Teejay! You were so smart to take the before pictures. I wish I had done more of that when I first started ten years ago. The bird is indeed a Roufous hummingbird who overwintered in my garden. You can read about it in the My Garden and Plants section. You might want to start a string in either that section or the My Garden Journal section to continue the story of your garden. Keep up the good work.
