Today, the 1st of March, is my dear daughter's Birthday! I was with her last weekend , and as a present I offered her a Calendar! This Calendar was my daughter that pushed/inspired me to create it, by using the internet help of a photoshop in Holland!
It includes four photos for each month, one in a large size, the rest in big thumbnail size. All of these photos are already existing in my beloved site, here that is.. Today, I will celebrate with you her Birthday, by offering to you too, this virtual Calendar-slide show ! In this way, I will share with you that undescribable joy, when I was suddenly found , that sunny and snowy(!!) March morning, holding in my hands a ..round lovely baby girl, with very long eye lashes! Somewhere in Northern Greece , in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki! Bambi, thank you so much for your wishes and your warm comments!! I have already sent her this page of our site, and it will work as one more present for her, together with your "Happy Birthday"!! Who knows -- you two might meet some day! You have so much in common (: for example, sensitive, extrovert, enthusiastic, animal and Nature lovers).
Concerning her Calendar-present, I just ordered only one copy , following her request -- I am not that daring in such things...

Oh Liza, I am almost speechless (Can anyone really believe that?)after viewing your slide show. You should be a professional photographer or at least publishing your own books.
I also love your photos and baby Alexandra and her doting Mama. How sweet and how precious those early photos of our children. I have been spending part of my morning re-placing all my treasured photographs in their places around my home. Yesterday, a strong band of storms that were spawing tornadoes swept through Alabama, so I had gathered up all my special photos and momentos to put away in a safe place just in case. I was blessed that all I have to do today is put everything back in place instead of trying to pick up the pieces of my life.
Thanks for allowing us to share your celebration of Alexandra!

Faith, I think we must have crossed over whilst posting earlier as I didn't see yours before submitting mine!
I don't want to hijack Alexandra's Birthday thread, but just wanted to say that when I heard about the tornadoes in Alabama I was so worried for you, but am really glad to hear you're ok. My heart goes out to your friends and neighbours who might have suffered worse.

I'm sorry to say I had trouble viewing the slideshow. I managed to see two pictures and then it 'froze'. I will have another try later.

I was unable to get the slide show ; however I thought the photos were really lovely .Thank you Liza .Alexandra has so many honorary aunts and uncles here to wish her a successful and enjoyable year ahead of her and her baby.
