) I also liked the story about the Chinese nails as I haven't heard that before, it's a good analogy.

As a math teacher that sort of humor is almost essential for working with young teenagers. You may have a future in my field if you ever desire a change.

Thanks for including the connection to your blog. I'm really blown away by the White Musssaendra. Is it an orchid? I wonder how hardy it is. So many of your plants I've never seen before. It's a whole other world of plants. I'll be going back to explore some more.

I'm glad you liked my garden. It is so much less colorful than what you can grow, but I love these plants too.

Thanks Mark for your wonderful comment about my plants. I’m delighted that you’ve enjoyed viewing them, and appreciate your visits to my blog too. Regarding the White Mussaenda, it’s a tropical shrub (not an orchid) about 5-10 feet with showy white/off-white oversized sepals. However, their orangy-yellow flowers are actually inconspicuous. The plant is quite hardy but can bend over or be brought down by strong winds as it’s usually top heavy.
