8 Feb '07 10:36 am Yes, you may all join with me in singing.
This morning I was out walking the dog accompanied by a friend (who made me walk further than I'd normally walk, so I know I'm going to be sore tomorrow!) when a car goes slowly past and then comes to a stop.
Aha I think, someone who's lost and needing directions, when this charming young lady asks, "Are you Anna?"
As there's two Anna's in the neighbourhood I wasn't sure if she meant me but confessed yes I was one of them.
And lo and behold she introduces herself as 'Dixie'.
How about that?
She recognised Scruffy (who is, after all 'one of a kind' ) and took the chance that I might be me. And luckily, I was.
It was lovely to meet you Dixie. And indeed what a small world it is.
So if the rest of the NZ contingent happen to be passing by our road, do wave won't you.
