A Percy Wiseman Rhododendron!12 Feb '07 12:01 am
This is my new flower self! So! " There is no doubt I am a true beauty, but I have to be more resilient during winter and snow storms...".. Hmmm... "True beauty "... Don't think so... "More resilient during snow storms"... I try my best... |

Catch up Gordonf!12 Feb '07 3:26 am
You have some catching up to do, so get busy. We are all busily building flower gardens from the quiz. My latest was finally something other than a rose - a red tree peony. This was exciting because I can't actually grow tree peonies here. Too hot and humid for their taste. |

And on human level...12 Feb '07 4:28 am
Faith dear! What it is amazing here, it is that with YOU, two of my flower selves coincide, or we are....double flower soul-mates so far!! You are my Canary Bird Rose soul-mate , AND my Tree Peony one! Does it also have to do with , that on purely human way of thinking we are in perfect communication as well? |

Well, folks - this time I turned out to be a soft orange dahlia! Now, that's the last colour of dahlia I would ever pick in real life!! Hmmm. . .
I wonder what I'll be next time??

next one12 Feb '07 11:55 am
I couldn't wait to do the next one ,and after the bearded iris ( Duh ! - thanks !) popped up so many times all through ,I finally ended up a soft orange dahlia - How did you know I didn't get round to staking them all ,and with the storm last week they are flattened ?

Dixie, I hope you didn't run to the bathroom for tweezers and hubby's electric shaver! Bearded irises aren't as bad as some of the weedy plants which lurk in this quiz, you know! hee hee. |

Flower soul mates14 Feb '07 3:54 am
Yes, Liza, I think we probably do think a lot alike; thus the results of our quiz taking. Of course, it could be totally random , but I have noticed that even if I give a different answer to the same question when it comes up again in a quiz, it doesn't seem to make a huge difference in the result. Maybe Eggy and Moosey are secretly psychologists and have figured out a way to ferret out our true personalities no matter how deceptive we try to be. |

thanks to quiz volunteers - and message for Gordon16 Feb '07 12:32 pm
Well, we're almost done - and a huge THANK YOU to all the friends who tested out our silly quiz. I've popped in 50 more plants, and copied out Jacqueline's spreadsheets (thanks so much, dear Jacqueline!). Message for Gordon - sorry abut the soft orange dahlia!
Anyway, this is to formally thank you all. It's almost ready to go. I really have two final questions - though Faith has already answered one of them.
1.Are there too many words in the quiz questions? Is it too wordy?
2.And did anyone feel they just weren't getting a 'fair go', finding an answer that suited them. For example, would anyone have liked a few more 'no comment' answers?
And, here's another message to Gordon - I've popped in a few more dahlias! hee hee. BTW, Gordon, I am organising some Kangaroo Paw seeds for you, we don't know if they'll work or not, but plans are in motion!
Cheers,
M. |
