24 Jan '07 2:28 am Moosey and I have been hard at working making a 'what plant am I' questionaire. Its a bit of silly fun that has got a little bit out of control - Moosey talks about it in her latest journal entry :
The prototype seems to be functioning well and we need some forum volunteers to help test it for us and give us feedback before we unleash it on the site proper.

24 Jan '07 7:43 am I would be really delighted to help! Maybe, I will find out why Shasta/golden Daisies , tiny Cyclamens, and red Poppies have been an enchantment to me since childhood...

27 Jan '07 3:45 am Sorry for the delay - we have been off line most of this week - when I found a window I had to attend to 'urgent business' and stop myself from getting side-tracked and having fun - difficult, as those who know me will realise!

Well, judging by the response eggy, I would say you are on to a winner with this jolly good idea!

28 Jan '07 8:32 am Thanks everyone - its cool that so many people want to lend a hand! Moosey and I found a few glaring bugs in that I'm fixing now. I'll send all volunteers an email early next week.

30 Jan '07 12:15 pm Still adding the finishing touches to our quiz. We've gone a bit overboard and there are HUNDREDS of possible questions and plants. We're making some scoring changes and fixing some more bugs...
Its a bit cheeky to ask but does anyone fancy researching the scientific names of 200 plants for the quiz? So far moosey has refused to provide me with anything but silly made up names like 'Scientificus Namus' I can offer an online amazon voucher or I could split the list up into smaller bits?
