What Plant Am I4 Feb '07 11:52 am
Dear Moosey, how could we possibly have our feelings hurt by such a fun little entertainment. I thought it was just fine, as in not too wordy at all. I may try it again every day to see if I can become an entire garden unto myself. It would be fun to see what kind of combinations I would come up with. Probably just as successful as my attempts at companion planting in my real garden. |

Yay! I'm a coral Peony!!4 Feb '07 1:54 pm
Hi, y'all- Well, I just completed the flower quiz, and I ended up to be a coral peony! Isn't it interesting that if I had room for one, that's exactly what I'd buy for my garden!!
Now, I'll have to do the quiz over again with a few different answers (some of them I couldn't decide so I just chose eeny-meeny-miny-moe style)!
By the way, it snowed here again last night but the rain today washed it all away.
Cheers,

Plant List4 Feb '07 2:01 pm
Hi, Eggy;
Now that I've chosen which plants I'm supposed to look up, what should I do? Do I look them up and post the names, or what? I feel as though I've missed part of the directions!!
Thanks,
gordonf |

Somethingus scientificus vulgaris4 Feb '07 4:55 pm
Gordon - I'm slowly poking in the scientific names that I know. The trouble is that the varieties can be different 'down here'. So things like roses are just getting the name Rosa. Ditto Rhododendron. I'd say that if you see a flower which you absolutely know, or is easy to check, just write that down. And when you get bored - stop! Could you please e-mail them to meeeeeee?
And thanks so much for helping!
You might find the scientific names will appear if you force your computer to refresh the page! And perhaps, when in doubt, I could just call it vulgaris? Hee hee.

Again a Peony!! This time a Coral Peony!5 Feb '07 2:22 am
Moosey, I think, I've never seen better described my personal approach to Art !! Until now, I thought I am impossible to be described! Because , yes! : " In me, the classic, traditional ideas of beauty are blended with fashion colour and form! I am thoroughly modern, but so ...classy!" Wow!! This last thing -- "classy" , definitely, turned me....into little pieces! I would plainly say I am classically.... modern in Art !! Thank you , my dear Coral Peony self! And, dear Head Gardener /Flower Psychologist!!

Canary Bird Rose5 Feb '07 6:00 am
Well today I added a Canary Bird Rose to my garden self. Sounds like I am well on the way to a proper rose garden, hey?
I get it now about the questions. I love that they change each time you take the quiz. Great job Eggy and Moosey. By the way, I'll try looking up some botanical names, but my feeble brain can't possibly remember who reserved what plants, so you may get some duplication. I'll just e-mail whatever I find as I find it. |

Darn it, I don't have time today to take the quiz and add to my virtual self garden. I have to go out of town for a couple of days, so no time to play on the computer. I'll check back in later and try to fulfill my promise to research some botanical names. |

Hee hee. I'm just waiting for someone to ebd up being a dodgy plant, like a weed, and be terribly cross with the silliness!
Thus you might see a few euphemisms! A few 'Look on the bright sides'! Thanks so much for having a bit of fun with this silly thing. As often happens, it's the silliest things which take the longest time. Hmm.....
Hurray for Rhapsody in Blue! |
