20 Feb '07 5:07 am Well, the mystery is solved. I too grew up calling Crane flies Gollywhoppers. Probably just a regional thing. We Southerners can come up with some creative names for ordinary things.

20 Feb '07 5:15 am Boy have you got that right. I mean to tell ya, sometimes we call something by what we are told to and when someone says its correct name ...well you know how we react. LOL
Southerners I guess are pretty set in their roots...we have traditions that would make others go "huh???" but I digress...Im referring to us coonasses. I will have to post you some pix of some of the mardi gras pix. We are in full swing right now...then they go thru Lent where they say sorry for 2 weeks of debauchery. I will make sure the pix are family friendly...promise...hummm going to have to EDIT the photos...kidding!
