A shower of brilliant colours!!!20 Nov '06 1:01 am
And this Bougainvillea variegata, is something really exceptional (!!!!), even for someone that has seen Bougainvilleas growing in the wild in her birth country..
Your special garden is glowing, dear friend!
Thank you so much, Jacqueline!

That's quite a pretty one, that. It'd fit quite well in a variety of garden styles.

Thanks, dear Anna! Bougainvilleas grow very well in our tropical climate and adds beauty and colour to wherever they thrive.

I can't really grow these beauties, Jacqueline. You must adore seeing the richness of their flower colour. I can remember seeing Bougainvilleas in Broome, that's in Western Australia, near the top. Bright purples and bright cherry pinks. Wonderful.

Thanks, dear Moosey! You win some and loose some! But luckily, we have our share of successes overall to inspire us on.
Yes, the gorgeous bracts of the bougainvilleas comes in many wonderful colours and is really captivating especially when the branches of large shrubs are covered with them! Although, those in my garden are dwarf plants in containers, they're adorable too! Hehe...any plant with colours delights me so!

Wow, Jaqueline, I just adore your orchids (along with everything else, of course, but I'm a sucker for an orchid as you may have noticed!! ). Yep, I'm most definitely going to treat myself to a house-orchid after Christmas!! Thank you for sharing, as always.
