I like your attitude, Anna! I think I will like your garden as well!
(And remember: share the work-in-progress and the failures, not just the triumphs)
Looking forward to seeing and reading more

Always nice to meet new gardening folk. I would just like to set you straight. An excuses is something that has no merit. Reasons are why things happen the way they do. Things unfold in a certain way for a reason. The unfortunate thing is we can't aways see the reason.
There. I had my say.

How to Conquer Procrastination17 Oct '06 1:51 pm
Have you ever thought, Anna, of camping out in the garden, in the middle of the bit you want to work on next? Have a thermos of tea, or whatever, out there, and stagger out of your tent and into the garden work. Hee hee.
Christopher, this may not work in flutterng snow. Snow! There are amazing differences in our weathers, if that is grammatical enough to be understood! |

Hi, Anna!17 Oct '06 8:41 pm
Welcome to ...our gardens! And your garden, completed or not, finished or not, it belongs to our gardens already! It is loved and cherished, like all gardens here in this site! And just wait and see: you'll be hugely inspired by all these gardens!
By the way: I enjoy your expressive, original, humorous, writing style! Thank you , Anna! And welcome, again --- sorry to be late on this... |

Better late than never. And it's lovely to be here.
As to my beloved yet sadly neglected garden, the camping out idea might be the only way to get me motivated. With the freezing cold snap we've had of late that would be my incentive. Finish 'this' spot or spend another night out in the cold! |

Hi Anna and yet another Welcome from another forum-ite!
Hee hee, I like the camping out idea - perhaps that's what's needed in my garden too!
Hope you enjoy your time here as much as the rest of us do! |
